Every year the AUGC hosts a conference where undergraduate students have the opportunity to present their current work, learn about local geology, meet members of the Atlantic geologic community and enjoy the company of like-minded students.

The Science Atlantic Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Conference is an annual regional event started more than 30 years ago, and it brings together the most brilliant undergraduate students in Atlantic Canada.

The 2023-2024 conference season heralded the return of in-person Science Atlantic conferences for all divisions. The return to a face-to-face environment brought with it renewed energy, excitement, and connection, along with top-tier student research. This season’s conferences were a fantastic showing of the work being done around the Atlantic region
