Mark your calendars! Science Atlantic’s Annual Members Meeting is happening online on Friday, Nov. 6, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM AST, and everyone is welcome to join.
This session serves as our Annual General Meeting, when members review the year’s progress and elect the upcoming Board. As the only hybrid event of our Annual Leadership Meetings weekend, it is fully open to the public.
What to expect:
- Updates and Reports: Key insights from the Board Chair, Treasurer, Executive Director, and Divisions.
- Future Outlook: Updates on membership activities, the next strategic planning process, and the 2026–2027 Board election (nominee bios and full proposed slate of Directors).
- Call for Volunteers: Several committees welcome members from the broader community.
- Agenda: 2026 Science Atlantic Annual Members Meeting Agenda
Who can participate:
- General Public: Anyone is welcome to attend, listen in, and participate in Q&A (time permitting) as non-voting attendees.
- Voting: Official motions will be voted on by each Member Institution’s senior Institutional Representative (the Dean of Science or equivalent proxy).
