About

Science Atlantic was originally established in 1962 and through the decades has seen growth across scientific and provincial boundaries. Science Atlantic’s Earth Science Division was created in the early 1990’s.

The Earth Science Division coordinates educational activities for students in the Earth Science and Geology departments in the Atlantic universities, often involving provincial and federal geoscience organizations. It assists with the organization of the Atlantic Universities Geoscience Conference (AUGC) and coordinates a speaker tour for the member universities.
