About
Held each November, the Annual Members Meeting brings together the leaders of Science Atlantic to review the organization’s strategic direction, plan for the coming year, share updates, hear from guest speakers, and connect with each other. Participation is open to Institutional Representatives (Deans or equivalent), Division and Action Committee Chairs, and Board members; as well, some sessions will be open for local attendees and live streamed for all who are interested.

Hotel information is below and more details about the sessions will be published shortly. Alt Hotel St. John’s is holding a mix of discounted rooms for attendees:

Meeting Location
The Science Atlantic meetings November 15 and 16 will be held in the Whale Atrium of the MUN Core Science Facility (CSF), room 3201. Please see the map below.
For the CSF, the closest parking available is at the parking garage located behind the building (lot 27). If the lot is full, additional parking is also available at lot 18 located in front of the QEII Library.

CISE-Atlantic Outreach in Tenure and Promotion
In this session, the Chairs will speak about the recommendations put forward by Dalhousie’s Taskforce aimed at refining the evaluation criteria for tenure and promotion within the Faculty of Science.
