First Tree Dedication Ceremony taking place at UNB-F

To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Science Atlantic, we have collaborated with many of our Member Institutions to arrange Tree Dedication Ceremonies on their campuses.

Our first Tree Dedication Ceremony is taking place today, September 22nd on National Tree Day, during the CIF National Forest Week (Sept 19-25, 2021) at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton Campus. A 60-year old red oak tree has been selected to honour 60 years of Science Atlantic. Ceremony details can be found below.

We’d like to extend a thank-you to the faculty member who championed this ceremony, Dr. Michelle Gray, professor of environmental management at UNB-F, as well as our host and Science Atlantic’s Institutional Rep at UNB-F, Dr. Gary Saunders, Dean of Science.
