“Advancing Inclusion in STEM Tenure & Promotion”, a discussion about the significance of incorporating and recognizing EDI and non-traditional contributions within Tenure and Promotion processes.

Every year the AUGC hosts a conference where undergraduate students have the opportunity to present their current work, learn about local geology, meet members of the Atlantic geologic community and enjoy the company of like-minded students.

In this session, the Chairs will speak about the recommendations put forward by Dalhousie’s Taskforce aimed at refining the evaluation criteria for tenure and promotion within the Faculty of Science.

The 16th Canadian Science Policy Conference (CSPC 2024) will take place November 20th through 22nd at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa. Registration is now open!

The Science Atlantic Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Conference is an annual regional event started more than 30 years ago, and it brings together the most brilliant undergraduate students in Atlantic Canada.

Science Atlantic is excited to bring our Science Atlantic Sessions for All (SASA) series back for its third year! We’re starting this season off strong with a discussion about “The Adjudication of your Discovery Grant Application”, facilitated by Dr. Christian Lacroix (UPEI) and Dr. William (Bill) Whelan (UPEI).
