The story of CISE-Atlantic begins on the island of K’taqumkuk, in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, with a shared vision of the future of STEM and a drive to make it a reality, through systemic change, research, policy development, equity-driven programs, and meaningful community engagement.

The 2025 Atlantic Undergraduate Physics and Astronomy Conference was held January 31 to February 2, at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

This year, the 2025 Science Atlantic Nutrition and Foods Conference (SANFC) will be held online on March 28 and 29.

The 2025 Science Atlantic Environment Conference (SAEC) will occur March 21 to 23 at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB.

The Science Atlantic Biology and Applied Aquatic Science (BAAS) joint conference will be hosted by Acadia University Wolfville, NS on March 7, 8, and 9 2025.

In summer 2023, two students discovered the script for a song written by Dr. Ronnie Quantum (Ron Lees) in 1991 about the AUPC (Atlantic Undergraduate Physics Conference). They have created a music video that is now ready to be watched!

Girls STEM Up: Connect and Conquer, will bring high school, undergraduate students, and allies, together, across Atlantic Canada, to engage in conversation and share diverse views on leadership and female empowerment within STEM.
