Proud to Have #PrideinSTEM

Updated June 8, 2021

Science Atlantic is founded on the values of inclusion, connection and promotion.

This is why we are proud to support the entire LGBTQIA2S STEM community in Atlantic Canada.

In accordance with these values Science Atlantic created a Statement of Inclusivity to help ensure all our conferences are safe spaces that celebrate diverse voices. In May 2021, we started an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) group where members of the public are meeting to brainstorm ideas that can be turned into actions.

We want to connect our audience with the resources they need. Here are some organizations on a mission to increase the visibility and diversity of the Queer STEM and science community!
