WE’RE LOOKING FOR PANELISTS!

Share your post-secondary STEM experiences and help us shape the conversation. 

As part of developing the curriculum for Science Atlantic’s Intergenerational Mentorship Program pilot, we’re hosting three online focus groups to hear from members of the Atlantic STEM community.

We’re looking for students, new faculty, and retired faculty who are interested in sharing their experiences and perspectives on mentorship, careers, academia, and building connections across generations. 

Our research shows just how valuable mentorship can be. So far, we have learned that mentorship can help people navigate the “unwritten rules” of academia, build confidence and resilience, and better understand the culture and expectations of STEM in higher education. Other participants have highlighted how mentorship can provide important guidance when making decisions about research, grants, career direction, and professional development.
