A Beautiful Day For A Ceremony
On October 27, Memorial University, Grenfell Campus dedicated a beautiful maple tree outside the Arts and Science building.
The ceremony included speeches from Dr. Ian Sutherland, VP Grenfell Campus, Dr. Michele Piercey-Normore, Dean and Science Atlantic Institutional Rep, and Ivan J. White, Student Affairs Indigenous Officer.
At the ceremony, attendees spoke about the history of Science Atlantic, and the many benefits for students who have been involved with the organization.
The ceremony ended with Ivan J. White giving thanks and giving back to the land with a gift of tobacco.
