The Science Atlantic Board is seeking nominations for individuals to fill up to five positions that will become vacant in November 2026.
The open positions are:
- Chair Elect (1)
- a current Dean of Science or equivalent at one of our 17 Member Institutions.
- In the absence of suitable nominees, a former senior administrator at a Member Institution may be considered.
- Director, Institutional Representatives (up to 1)
- A current Dean of Science or equivalent representing one of our 17 Member Institutions.
- Director, Division Chairs (up to 1)
- A current Chair of a Science Atlantic Division.
- In the absence of suitable nominees, a former Division Chair who continues to be a member of the Division may be considered.
- Director, Community-at-Large (up to 2)
- Open to all individuals in the region with an interest in supporting the mission of Science Atlantic.
- These positions exclude other designated groups of the Board (Institutional Representatives, Division Chairs/members, students).
