Two Amazing Student Opportunities!

The CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Group Academic Challenge is  a national research competition for undergraduate students.  Program advisor Anne Wilcock has the following to say about the Challenge:

“The program’s objective is to engage students in the world of standards, highlighting their impact in the workplace and in everyday life.  The Patron of the Challenge is the Hon. Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada.  Each year a new challenge is issued to the academic community; students from academic institutions across the country are eligible to submit research papers on any topic related to standards, and Challenge finalists are selected from among the submissions received.  Challenge finalists, supported by their Academic Advisors, present their projects at CSA Group’s Annual Conference and the winning submission is determined based on voting by a national panel of judges, committee members, conference delegates and CSA Group staff.”
