Where do I turn on/off my voice and video chat?
Use the Microphone and Video buttons in the bottom-center of your screen to enable these options.
My microphone/camera still aren’t working, where do I change my settings?
In the bottom-right corner of your screen, you’ll notice 3 dots. Click here, then go to “Settings” to access additional microphone/video features. You can change your input/output device here.
How do I turn on captions?
To turn on captions, press the “CC” in the bottom right corner of your screen, or alternatively click the “Turn on captions” button after clicking the three dots used to access your settings.
How do I vote in a motion, or join chat?
To vote in a motion, click on the “Raise Hand” button on the bottom-right side of your screen. If you can connect by audio only, please verbally indicate your motion. You can see all other votes by clicking on “Participants” and looking at “Raised Hands”, indicated in the photo below.
Alternatively, if you wish to specifically vote against the motion, you can click on the Dialogue Box to access the chat and see a Motion. Type in your response and hit Enter to submit.
How do I change my background?
After clicking on the 3 dots, click “Change background” – You can then choose between a blurred background, a preset image, or an image of your choice.
How do I change the layout?
After clicking on the 3 dots in the bottom right corner of your screen, click “Change Layout” – you’ll be prompted to change your page to the layout of your choice.
I’m experiencing lag; is it me?
After clicking the 3 dots in the bottom right corner of your screen, click on the “Troubleshoot & Help” option.
You’ll be able to see your general internet diagnostics.
Your internet diagnostics will feature two key components; your Connection Delay and CPU Usage.
– If you’re getting high Connection Delay numbers, the problem is with your internet connection.
– If you’re getting high CPU Usage numbers, the problem is with your computer’s load.
If your readings are similar to mine, then the issue isn’t related to your computer/connection.
