Institutional Representatives Community of Practice

New in 2024, Science Atlantic’s Institutional Representatives Community of Practice is a closed-door space where Deans or equivalent can discuss the topics and challenges that impact them in their leadership roles. Sessions are centered around a topic of interest to all in the room, so that everyone is sharing and gaining knowledge.

Community of Practice sessions are held periodically so that Institutional Reps can connect with, learn from, and support one another to the betterment of all involved. Jennifer Tomes, Dean of Science and Graduate Studies at Mount Allison University and a Science Atlantic Board Director, is the facilitator for this group.

If you have a topic idea, please contact Jennifer Tomes, Dean of Science and Graduate Studies (MtA), or the Science Atlantic Executive Director, Lois Whitehead.
