Join the Women in Science Speaker Tour this November for a seminar entitled “Research to Support the Development of a National School Food Program”.
This upcoming research seminar will highlight the work of Dr. Tracey Everitt (MAEd, PDt, PhD), an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Nutrition from St. Francis Xavier University. Dr. Everitt will speak on her research regarding Canadian data and the development of a National School Food Program.
This event will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 1:10 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. at Cape Breton University’s Shannon School of Business, Room SB-200.
Science Atlantic is proud to continue our partnership with WISE Atlantic on this speaker tour, and we hope for a great turnout!
The purpose of the WIS Speaker Tour is to showcase the research conducted by early-career female faculty (Assistant level) in Atlantic Canada. Female faculty represent only about 25-30% of all faculty in the physical and life sciences, mathematics, and computer sciences in Canada but are important role models for female students in science.
