About Science Atlantic

Science Atlantic (formerly APICS, the Atlantic Provinces Council on the Sciences) is a charitable association of 17 post secondary and research institutes in Atlantic Canada.

Our activities are organized by professors and students according to science discipline. Activities include annual conferences in ten disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields, lecture tours by notable scientists, awards recognizing research and science communication skills, travel assistance for students to attend conferences, and workshops for faculty.
